FAQs (HOME DECORS)

1.  Are they breakable?

Yes, they get chipped. But they are strong. So, handling with care is very much necessary for them to last long.

2.  Are they water-proof?

Yes, they are water-proof. They are sealed properly inside-out with sealers/wax.

3.  Do they give any odour?

No, they don’t give any odour.

4.  Are they food-safe?

Though they are sealed with food-safe sealer, they can be used for dry food, like fruits with peel, chocolates with cover, etc. Do not use them for wet food storage.

5.  Are they safe for children?

Keep them away from little kiddos, because they are heavy (they can drop & get hurt), they can be put into mouth by mistake (definitely to be avoided!).

6.  How to clean them?

Cleaning with a damp cloth would suffice. If anything wet falls, place some tissues to absorb and then clean with a damp cloth. Can be cleaned under running water, but do not place it for a long time under running water.

7.   Will they be exactly like shown in the picture?

They are handmade, so no 2 products can be exactly the same. In marbling, strokes differ; in terrazzo, the chips distance and size vary. That’s what make these products unique. ‘You will always have a unique product that doesn’t match with anyone (you are always special!).

8.  What are the tiny holes present here & there?

Jesmonite is a porous material. It absorbs moisture and air might get trapped inside. Once it gets cured completely, the air trapped may appear as tiny holes. Though they are rarely seen, you can find a very few sometimes. They don’t affect the product appearance or its elegance.

9.  Will it leave any scratches when placed on a glass/wooden base?

Every piece will have a grip with either cork/felt/grip sheet, which will give cushioning and protects from scratches.
